What is body doubling?

A focus technique where you work in the presence of another person — even silently. Studies show neurodivergent people find starting and finishing tasks significantly easier this way. Paro provides the “presence” without needing another human, a camera, or a scheduled meeting.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Apple manages cancellations: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Paro → Cancel. You can also reach this from inside Paro: Settings → Manage Subscription. Pro stays active until the end of your current billing period.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We don't have the ability to issue App Store refunds directly. If Apple has trouble, write to us and we'll do what we can.

My subscription isn't activating

Try, in order: confirm internet, tap Restore Purchases on the paywall, check you're signed in with the Apple ID that made the purchase, restart the app. If it still doesn't work, write to asifseferov00@gmail.com with your Apple ID email (we never see your password).

Does Paro work offline?

Yes. The only time Paro needs the internet is to verify subscription status when you first subscribe or restore purchases. Your focus history, buddy preferences, and streak never leave your device.

What data does Paro collect?

As little as possible. No name, no email, no location, no personal identifiers. Your focus history stays on your device. The only data we touch is anonymous subscription status. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Can I use Paro without subscribing?

Yes. The free tier includes up to three focus stretches per day, up to 25 minutes each, one ambient environment, buddy check-ins, and streak tracking. Pro unlocks unlimited stretches at any length, all five ambient environments, custom buddy names, Apple Health integration, and the home screen widget.

Is Paro suitable for kids?

Paro is rated 4+ and safe for all ages. There's no user-generated content, no chat, no external links inside the focus experience. Younger children may need a parent to help set up sessions.

How do I delete my data?

All your data lives on your device. To delete everything, uninstall Paro. There is nothing on our servers to delete.

Can I switch buddies later?

Yes. Settings → Buddy lets you pick a different one. Your stats and streak carry over.

Will there be more ambient sounds?
