Terms of Use

A short, plain-English agreement about how Paro works, what's reasonable to expect, and what isn't. By installing or using Paro, you agree to these terms.

The agreement

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Asif Safarov (“we,” “us,” or “our”), the developer of Paro (“the App”). They apply alongside Apple's Standard EULA, which is the binding license between you and Apple as the distributor.

If you disagree with anything below, please don't install or continue using Paro.

Your license

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use Paro on any iPhone you own or control, under the rules of Apple's Standard EULA. The App, its name, its content, and its design remain our property.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, or attempt to extract source code or assets from the App.

Subscriptions

Paro Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription, billed through your Apple ID. Available plans are shown inside the App; prices may differ by region based on Apple's local pricing.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

Free trials

If a free trial is offered, the App will clearly state its duration and the price that follows. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you start a paid subscription.

Cancellation

You can cancel a Paro subscription at any time:

  • Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  • Tap your Apple ID at the top, then Subscriptions.
  • Select Paro — Focus Buddy, then Cancel Subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain Pro access until that date.

Refunds

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under their refund policy. We don't have the ability to issue App Store refunds directly. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Acceptable use

Paro is intended for personal focus and well-being. Don't use the App in ways that violate any law or that could damage, disable, or impair the App or anyone else's use of it.

The App is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure ADHD or any other condition. If you have questions about your health, please speak with a qualified professional.

Disclaimer

Paro is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do our best to keep the App working well, but we don't promise it will always meet your expectations or work without interruption.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. Our total liability for any claim related to Paro is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated through an App update or in-app notice. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your jurisdiction are not affected by this clause.
